In order for Districts 7, 9, and 12 High Schools to prepare students for success in college, career pathways, and beyond, our district will partner with multiple stakeholders through collaboration, support, and data-informed systems to ensure that every student receives high-quality, culturally responsive instruction and equitable opportunities in communities where students are known and feel like they belong.
District Instructional Focus Statement
BX HS D7,9,12 focuses on supporting school leaders to strengthen core instruction through collaborative inquiry and effective literacy practices to improve student outcomes in reading, writing, speaking, discussion and critical thinking by supporting teachers and teams to implement high-quality literacy instruction across content areas.
