District Vision
If each student is valued and respected in a culturally responsive environment where they receive the specific strategic support they need in high school, then they can be successful for college/career/civic readiness.
District Mission
In order for Districts 7, 9 and 12 High Schools to prepare students for college and career, our district will partner with multiple stakeholders through collaboration, support, and planning to ensure that each student meets high expectations and achieves academic and post-secondary success.
District Goals
- By August 2023, the overall district graduation rate will increase to at least 90% and the college readiness rate will increase by 5%.
- By June 2023, the overall district attendance rate will increase to at least 88% and chronic absenteeism will decrease by 5%.
- By June 2023, the district will support schools to effectively implement SEL plans and increase family engagement/empowerment where each school has a functioning PTA/PA executive board and increased family/school partnership events.
